Arsenal are one of the clubs ‘interested’ in São Paulo forward Brenner.

That’s what Calciomercato.it are reporting and explain the Gunners, Juventus, AC Milan and Lazio join a ‘large list of clubs’ who have interest in the 20-year-old.

The Brazilian has been one of the standout players for the South American side in 2020, managing 15 goals and three assists in 25 appearances in all competitions.

It’s claimed the attacker’s performances for São Paulo have been ‘attracting the attention of several European clubs’, with Mikel Arteta’s side included in the list.

The outlet adds ‘Thanks to Italian descent in the maternal line’, the player could be eligible to get a European passport, which would get him ‘within the reach’ of the clubs interested in signing him.

According to the report, the list includes Juve, Milan, Lazio, Arsenal, Ajax and Paris Saint-Germain. Brenner’s current deal with São Paulo lasts until 2022 and has a €50m release clause for clubs outside Brazil.

Calciomercato.it, however, explain his exit from the club next summer can be facilitated for a fee less than €50m.
