Spanish duo Atlético Madrid and Sevilla are ‘expected to bid’ for Alexandre Lacazette next summer when his contract expires with Arsenal.

That’s according to La Razon, who say the latter could have an advantage courtesy of Arsenal’s interest in Youssef En Nesyri.

The website reports that while both clubs will be free to negotiate with the Arsenal man from January about a free transfer next summer, they could move for him in January as well.

That’s because they want to ‘get ahead’ of other competitors for the Frenchman’s signature, namely Juventus and Milan (they don’t say which Milan but both AC and Inter have been linked).

If that is the case, Sevilla ‘would have an advantage’ over Atlético as Arsenal ‘intend to negotiate’ with the Spanish club for En Nesyri.

They see him as the replacement for Lacazette, and so the two clubs could reach some sort of agreement that sees the two players swapping clubs in January.

That deal would presumably see Arsenal having to spend a little bit of money, given En Nesyri is valued much higher than Lacazette at this point in their respective careers.

Still, it seems there is the outline of a transfer idea forming, with Lacazette’s contract situation making him a wanted man.
