AS Roma’s Evan Ndicka has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs in the past few months and Arsenal and Newcastle United are said to be keen on the defender.

The centre-back has done well for Roma this season, playing every single minute of the Serie A season and his performances have been impressive under Claudio Ranieri.

Doubts are now starting to emerge about his future in Rome and Gazzetta dello Sport have reported on the situation.

The newspaper, as relayed by SiamoLaRoma, report Arsenal and Newcastle United are amongst the most interested clubs in England.

As of now, the Giallorossi want a fee of €30m to €40m to sell their player, who joined the Italian giants on a free transfer after his contract at Eintracht Frankfurt had expired.

Anything that Roma earn from his sale will be pure profit. Arsenal are trying to take advantage of the situation and have made contact for him, moving ahead of Newcastle United.

Ndicka’s current contract at Roma runs out in the summer of 2028, so it is easy to see why the Giallorossi will not settle for a low fee.
