Arsenal has emerged as a possible destination for Juventus’ Arthur.

The midfielder missed the start of the season due to an injury and after regaining full fitness in October, he has only one start each in Serie A and the Champions League.

Lack of game time at the Turin club has convinced the 25-year-old to look for a new club in the winter market and this was revealed by his agent, Federico Pastorello, earlier this week.

Calciomercato now state the Brazil international earns €5.5m per year, which makes him affordable for only a handful of clubs across Europe.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side are keen to cut ties with the player and Aaron Ramsey, so that they can make space in the squad and lower their salary budget to make new signings next month.

The report’s title states Pastorello’s ‘new mission’ is to take his client away from the Old Lady and there are ‘contacts with Sevilla and Arsenal’.

Sevilla have carried out polls for the ex-Grêmio man’s arrival on loan, without redemption obligation. From England, the ‘track [for Arthur] is one that leads to London’, with Arsenal, who are also ‘intensifying contacts for Dejan Kulusevski’.

With Mikel Arteta’s side in picture for Arthur, Juventus are ‘open to everything’ to let him leave. In other words, the Italian club are ready to make it easy for interested parties to sign the player, so much so that, they are willing to sanction his transfer on a ‘long loan’ deal.
