Turkish TV Channel A Spor report Fenerbahce are still interested in signing Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina as talks between the two clubs continue.
With Arsenal interested in signing German keeper Bernd Leno it seems the Colombian’s time at the Emirates is coming to an end and A Spor believe Fenerbahce is a possible destination for him.
The Arsenal player was linked with a move to Fenerbahce last summer but ended up staying in England after the Turkish club signed Carlos Kameni instead.
A Spor say this time a move to Istanbul is looking likelier for Ospina but Fenerbahce need to decide on the future of Volkan Demirel before bringing in the South American.
Demirel will be out of contract at the end of the month and if the Turkish giant decide to replace him then Ospina is a prime target.
Ospina is set to feature for Colombia in the World Cup and any possible transfer is likely to be done after the tournament.
