With Lucas Torreira seemingly on his way out of Arsenal, there are a number of teams in Italy keen on his services.

The name might sound familiar to you, and that’s because he’s a huge fan of Torreira, having managed him at Sampdoria, and was the one behind all those stories of the midfielder potentially moving to Milan last year.
He’s now in charge at Torino, where Gazzetta explain the idea of bringing the Arsenal midfielder to the club is one that ‘fascinates a lot’.
Described as an ‘authentic student of Giampaolo’s’, Torreira’s desire ‘is to return to Italy’, with the Gunners ‘giving him the green light’ to do so.
For Torino, the only way they would get a player of the Uruguay international’s value and aware would be ‘through a loan’, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.
After all, it’s under Giampaolo that Torreira blossomed into the player Arsenal bought, so why wouldn’t he also want a reunion with a manager who knows exactly how to get the best out of him?
