As Italian website Calcio Mercato reports Juventus’ interest in Emil Forsberg from RB Leipzig today, they actually say the Old Lady are quite behind in the race.
The Italian side are said to be keen on making a move for the winger in the summer market, but the competition from Arsenal and Bayern Munich would be pretty heavy.
Calcio Mercato claims that the Gunners and the German side are in the ‘front line’ for the 26-year-old, with Arsene Wenger already thinking of signing him in January to replace Alexis Sanchez at the club.
The outlet claims RB Leipzig are not very keen on selling their stars before the next season, and even if doing so, they will wait for the World Cup to see their prices going up.
However, Forsberg isn’t happy at the club, according to the Italian claims, and wants to leave soon.
So it’s basically up to Bayern, Arsenal, Juve, or whoever is interested in him to go and negotiate with Leipzig. Good luck with that.
