Yannick Carrasco has made no secret of his desire to leave Chinese football and Dalian behind him.

There were reports during the January transfer window that Arsenal and Manchester United were keen on the player, and it was made clear at the time that Carrasco was looking for a return to European football.

He ended up staying with Dalian and since then has made his desire for a Europe return known on several occasions. Carrasco wants his club to try and facilitate a sale this summer, but they’re not ready to do so on any terms.

TMW report Arsenal have ‘found an agreement’ with the player on a four year contract worth €6m a season, after tax. The Gunners have also offered €25m as a transfer fee.

As it stands, Dalian are ‘putting up a wall’ (there’s a joke to be made there), and blocking the sale.

With Carrasco clearly wanting a way out, it would be suspected his club will agree sooner or later.
