Amid the rumours sending Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City before the end of the transfer window, there are other players on the way out of the Emirates, including Joel Campbell.
The Costa Rican winger, who has spent most if his six years at Arsenal on loan somewhere, is expected to leave the club once again this summer.
Following last year’s temporary deal to Sporting CP in Portugal, the 25-year-old is now on his way to Seville to sign with Real Betis, a team he played for during the 2012/13 season.
Currently recovering from a knee operation for a meniscus injury suffered in July, Campbell recently underwent a series of tests in Barcelona ahead of his move, with the results reassuring the La Liga club that he’ll be OK to play.
The player has since been spotted with Betis’ vice director of football, Lorenzo Serra Ferrer, at an airport on his way to Seville by Estadio Deportivo, all but confirming his transfer there from Arsenal.
Campbell made 29 appearances in all competitions for Sporting CP last season, scoring three goals and picking up four assists.
