Last week, we covered the latest from Turkey regarding Arsenal’s pursuit of Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey.

Mikel Arteta appears to be in the market for a new right-back, and the Frenchman has gone to the top of his list, with it claimed an offer approaching €20m had been made.

Well, Takvim on Tuesday bring some more details about Arsenal’s pursuit of the defender, with some more steps set to take place in the near future.

Corroborating previous claims, they write that Galatasaray and the Gunners ‘will hold a meeting this week’ regarding a potential transfer of the right-back, with the last offer from London being ‘€18m with bonuses’.

That falls within the previously reported parameters, but the Turkish side ‘opened the door for €25m’, which has been their asking price.

Despite this, the belief is that ‘after the negotiations’ to take place in the upcoming meeting, the two clubs are ‘expected to shake hands at €20m’.

With this potential move to Arsenal in mind, Galatasaray have already looked for alternatives, with Estoril’s Tiago Santos on their radar, who has a current market value of around €1m.
