In case you are an Arsenal fan and are expecting the club to sign defenders in the summer, you may not like what France Football writes this week.

The French outlet lists a few players who the Gunners wish to sign in the transfer window, and all of them would be brought to improve the attack.

France Football starts talking about the departure of Petr Cech and the ‘questions raised’ by the defence, which are actually expected to be answered with the returns of Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding.

Then when speaking of the departure of Aaron Ramsey and the season of Mesut Ozil, France Football lists a few players who could improve that sector.

They say with Arsenal missing the Champions League, they won’t want to spend over €30m or €40m on a player, unless there’s a big opportunity.

One of these opportunities would be Ajax’s David Neres, who is said to be an ‘ideal profile’. If not him, other guys such as Ryan Fraser and Dennis Praet would be welcomed by the Gunners as well.

But the club’s ‘dream’, according to FF, would be to attract Nicolas Pepe from Lille. The outlet rates the player at €70m, and says approaches have already happened.
