Both needing a left-back in the summer, Real Sociedad and Real Betis have been after the same targets: Arsenal’s Nacho Monreal and Barcelona’s Juan Miranda.

Normally, this scenario tends to end in some rather unsavoury disputes, but El Gol Digital claim on Wednesday that the La Liga pair already have everything sorted between them.

The website state in an article that both clubs are ready to ‘agree’ on the future of the two left-backs, with one going to Seville and the other to San Sebastian.

With this in mind, El Gol Digital believe Monreal, whose contract with the Gunners runs out at the end of the season, will swap the Emirates to succeed Theo Hernandez (returning to Real Madrid after his loan spell) at Real Sociedad.

That means Juan Miranda will likely take Junior Firpo’s spot at Betis, as the Spain U21 international looks set for a big move elsewhere (Manchester City have been reportedly interested).

Since joining Arsenal in 2013, Nacho Monreal has made 238 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 10 goals and picking up 19 assists.
