Chinese club Dalian Yifang have suspended Yannick Carrasco for missing the fixture against Hebei China Fortune and also returning late to training following his commitment with Belgium.

Three days ago, his agent Christophe Henrotay told Het Laatste Nieuws why his client was late and also confirmed Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in the 25-year-old.

“There are clubs that would like to sign him. One club submitted a formal offer. Other clubs, such as Arsenal, also wanted to do that, but Dalian said he was not for sale,” Henrotay explained.

Despite Dalian’s stance on the winger, the Gunners ‘continue to insist’ with the Chinese club for his transfer, claims Tutto Mercato Web.

It’s also stated the former Atletico Madrid man has already agreed personal terms with Unai Emery’s side as he’s keen on returning to Europe.

With Arsenal already agreeing terms with Carrasco for the transfer, it is now for the north London side to convince Dalian to sanction his sale in the summer transfer window.

The reason the Italian website is talking about interest from Arsenal is that AS Roma are also considering to make an approach for Carrasco, if Stephan El Shaarawy leaves the Serie A club.
