For the past few weeks, several reports from Turkey have talked about Arsenal’s interest in Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey.
Fotomaç now state Juventus have joined the Gunners and other clubs in the chase for the right-back and even asked for information about him.
They add the Turkish side have set a €25m asking price and if their demands are met, he’ll be allowed to leave in the summer window.
Boey has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League and this could give Arsenal an advantage over Juventus in the transfer race.
The north London club wanting to sign the Frenchman is also reported by Hürriyet. It’s claimed Mikel Arteta’s side ‘continue their contacts’ with Galatasaray for the 22-year-old.
The report also states the Istanbul club are keen to sign Nuno Tavares, who spent last season on loan at Marseille, and is not in Arteta’s plans at the Emirates.
According to Hürriyet, Galatasaray’s Sérgio Oliveira is trying to ‘persuade’ his compatriot to join him in Istanbul. If Tavares gives the green light to this operation, Galatasaray will ‘sit at the table’ with Arsenal to negotiate a deal for the left-back.
It’s to be noted Hürriyet don’t mention anything about a potential swap deal between Arsenal and Galatasaray involving Boey and Tavares.
