Earlier this week, it was reported that Inter were interested in PSV’s Steven Bergwijn as they looked into bolstering their wings in case of Baldé Keita’s return to Monaco or an Ivan Perisic sale.

Manchester United were mentioned as competition for the Italians, which makes sense seeing as they also need some depth on the wing, severely lacking on the right-hand side.

However, another club in England is reportedly interested, according to FC Inter News, and that’s Arsenal.

According to the website, Arsenal, alongside Manchester United, have been ‘constantly’ following the Dutchman this season.

Inter, in all this, would have to try and compete with Premier League finances, even if, per the player’s agent, it will be the team with the ‘best project’ for his client who will win the race.

He said, in an interview with the website: “The next step is always the most important. The club that admires him the most and gives him the right prominence for his development will be able to help Steven with his choice.”

Furthermore, the PSV starlet has ‘no priority’ regarding his future club.

He just wants to play, and improve.

Arsenal know what to do.
