André Silva’s first full season for Porto has been quite impressive. With 20 goals and seven assists, the 21-year-old has proven himself one of the most promising strikers in Europe, and that’s why it was just a matter of time until he started being linked with top clubs.

Portuguese newspaper Record has a story on the race for the player today, gathering all the claims of sides who would be following him. To start off, they take this weekend’s articles from the French and English press to say that PSG, Marseille, Chelsea and Manchester United are all keeping tabs on the player.

Manchester United scout Porto repeatedly, but then do similar with almost every Portuguese club, and under Antonio Conte Chelsea are in the country as often as they once were.

CapturarRecord then use their own information and state Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester City have all already shown their interest in having André Silva.

These clubs from their own list have all been linked to Silva in the past, but with the end of the season coming, it’s probably time to make things look fresh so people will be up to date with the rumours.

Arsenal and Manchester City have been scouting in Portugal this season, but they’ve not been going to every Porto match recently.

As this is a quite respectable list of interested clubs, Porto don’t expect low offers to be made. The player has a €60m release clause in a contract running until 2021, and this race will mean the Dragons won’t sell him for much less than that figure.
