Valencia are looking for a replacement for Andre Gomes, who has signed for Barcelona.
According to local media outlet Deporte Valenciano, Turkish star Oguzhan Ozyakup is the first choice option for La Liga side.
Valencia, however, face competition from Manchester United and Arsenal, with Deporte Valenciano saying the team from London are in the lead.
The interest from Arsenal and Manchester United has already complicated things for Valencia.
Besiktas are likely to demand €20m for the former Arsenal player, who has another couple of years left on his contract at the Turkish side.
Besiktas are ready to cash in on the player, and the Spanish website say they won’t be able to do anything to keep him should the two Premier League clubs bid for him.
The 23-year-old had 10 goals and 8 assists to his name in 41 games last season.
It would be easy to assume Manchester United and Arsenal have been dragged into this to make it more interesting, and to perhaps give Valencia an excuse for not paying the fee.
