Evan Ndicka has been one of AS Roma’s most reliable players in the past few seasons and is now attracting keen interest from Arsenal and Newcastle United.
The centre-back played every Serie A game during the 2024/25 season and his availability helped Roma challenge for a Champions League place despite a poor first half of the campaign.
The Giallorossi are now dealing with the possibility of losing Ndicka and LaRoma24 report both Newcastle United and Arsenal have ‘started to enquire’ about signing the 25-year-old Ivorian.
The outlet claim the centre-back’s fate will come down to Roma’s final decision as they want over €40m to sell their asset. Offers below that will not be enough and the Italian giants will stand firm with their demand.
Hope is handed to Newcastle United and Arsenal by the player’s entourage. The report reveals that those around Ndicka have leaked information that the Ivory Coast international can be sold.
Besides that, his exit will hand Roma a major capital profit because they signed the player on a free transfer after his contract at Eintracht Frankfurt expired.
Ndicka has previously showed enough versatility to play at left-back and even though his best has come while playing in a back three, he is also efficient while playing in a back four.
