Trt Spor’s journalist Firat Gunayer has given the latest update with regards to Besiktas’ pursuit of Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina.

Following Sky Sports claims the player has agreed personal terms with Besiktas, as previously reported in Turkey from numerous media sources, it’s now claimed there are some complications with the proposed deal.

Gunayer says the only issue ahead of Ospina’s potential move to Istanbul is that Arsenal are trying to increase the redemption clause.

A permanent deal for Ospina is also on the table but Gunayer said Besiktas need to sell first if they want to sign Colombian international outright.

It’s also reported that Besiktas have agreed personal terms with the player and Arsenal have also said ‘yes’ in principle to the loan move.

Gunayer said if Arsenal lowers their redemption clause or if Besiktas sell some players to fund the transfer, then Ospina will join the Turkish club very soon.
