Over the past few months, El Desmarque have been on the Real Madrid agenda rather heavily, particularly when it comes to transfers.
The website are convinced that Florentino Pérez has several big-money moves lined up as he tries to get Madrid back on their pedestal.
Most of those moves have involved James Rodríguez in some form, but now it seems he may end up getting rid of the Colombian via an alternative route.
According to the website, Arsenal are ready to ‘throw the house of the window’ to sign the midfielder and are willing to pay €42m to make it happen.
That offer exceeds those proposed by Atlético Madrid and Napoli but, unfortunately, still falls short of Pérez’s valuation.
He is instead looking for at least €50m for the 28-year-old, who is not a part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans moving forward.
Whether that’s a price Arsenal are willing to pay isn’t mentioned, although given they’re ready to do anything to get him, an extra €8m won’t make much of a difference.
Regardless, it seems they face a fight to convince Rodríguez anyway. He doesn’t want to move in January and would prefer a summer transfer.
He thinks he can move to either PSG or Inter Milan, clubs that ‘convince’ him more than Arsenal, who he rejected in the past because of them not being Champions League regulars.
It suggests that, if this Arsenal interest is genuine, they may be better served spending their money and efforts on another target.
