Following Sunday’s reports which said Lionel Messi wishes to leave Barcelona this summer, the Argentine media is starting to react to it today.
The most interesting story we’ve found comes from TyC, where they explain why Manchester City can dream of signing the Camp Nou star.
Their story insists money shouldn’t be a problem for Messi, since his big priority is the sporting project. And that’s what the Premier League side could offer.
TyC writes that Manchester City have a great squad, ‘dream’ facilities, and a clear goal to win the Champions League. All that package comes on top of their fight for the Premier League title every year.
There’s also two ‘human factors’. These are Pep Guardiola, who managed Messi at Barcelona, and Sergio Aguero, who’s his best friend at national team level.
Olé, the biggest sports newspaper in the country, has Messi’s future as their front page story, and inside they name all clubs who could land the 33-year-old.
They simply say that Manchester City, Inter Milan, Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and AC Milan all have the conditions to land him.
What Olé really claims to know is that Messi is ‘disconnected from everything’ and will see how things develop at Barcelona before taking a final decision on his future.
