Argentine newspaper Olé had a very interesting Tuesday story on San Lorenzo’s current squad, which is full of homegrown players.
The outlet had a few lines on each of these youngsters, who are slowly taking their place at the club and showing that the future is bright.
One of these players is Marcos Senesi, a 21-year-old defender who’s made 11 appearances for San Lorenzo in the past season.
Olé doesn’t have much to say about him, but makes sure to write a bit on the possibilities for his future. Because according to them, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur would be interested in him.
The newspaper doesn’t being any further info, so we had to dig a little to see where these claims from. And it didn’t take much work.
Apparently, the rumours started in Italy. Corriere Dello Sport recently had a story about Inter’s interest in the player, and at the end of the article, they’ve included both Everton and Tottenham as pretenders.
Websites like HITC only covered the interest from English clubs, so when you Google the rumours about his future, it seems like the Premier League chase is the stronger one right now.
Since Olé didn’t have a story only to report the chase and make the rumour just a small part of a story that has nothing to do it, we believe there’s nothing new on Everton’s or Tottenham’s interest for now.
