Chelsea remain strong in the race for Fiorentina star Federico Bernardeschi.
Although the interest has been reported for months, with the summer window approaching the player’s situation has come more into focus.
Now Bernardeschi will have to make that same old decision. Stay at the club where’s been playing since the youth levels or leave for a bigger side like Chelsea.
The competition is pretty tough. Only in Italy, there are Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan all wanting the player. From abroad, Bayern Munich are said to be interested, but Chelsea are still said to be stronger.
Antonio Conte is a long term admirer of Bernardeschi and has already told Roman Abramovich he wants him signed.
Gazzetta even made a graphic with the chances of each club to sign the player in case he leaves, and gives 35% to Inter Milan, 30% to Juventus, 25% to Chelsea and 10% to Milan.
