Leicester City star N’Golo Kante was expected to be on the wish-list of several top clubs in Europe this summer, after an impressive season at the Premier League club.
Reports in France suggest Paris-Saint Germain are interested in the player, whilst their Italian counterparts believe Juventus are also keen on signing the player.
Spanish media have linked the player to Real Madrid, and the English media believe Kante is wanted by every top club in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has also been linked with a big money to China, so basically all possible destinations have been explored by the media.
There’s every chance they’re all right.
At the moment, Kante is strongly linked to Chelsea and Real Madrid.
The Premier League side are willing to pay his release clause of €25m, and want to close the deal as soon as possible, reports AS in Spain.
Real Madrid are also interested in Kante, but are facing competition from Chelsea.
Casemiro is the only established player in the Real Madrid squad to play in a deeper midfield role, and Zidane wants Kante next season.
AS say Antonio Conte has made a ‘priority request’ for Kante, and that the player has rejected a €120k/w contract from Leicester.
There have been conflicting reports on Kante’s release clause, and it’s difficult to confirm it. Leicester, however, are likely to find it very difficult to convince him to stay at King Power Stadium.
