French newspaper L’Equipe have been running a feature throughout the Euros asking France players what their likes and dislikes are. It’s a short little snippet and some players have made their answers much shorter than others.
The forward’s likes and dislikes are pretty much predictable and could apply to many footballers.
Martial’s good list is: “Football. It sounds simple but it’s always been the case. I don’t see myself living without playing. Spending time with my family. Movies, horror movies. Playing video games.”
Martial’s bad list is: “Manchester weather. Cooking when I’m tired (laughs). English cuisine.”
The 20 year old is originally from the outskirts of Paris, which doesn’t have much better weather than Manchester, but his last club was of course AS Monaco… where he’ll have enjoyed wonderful weather, and before that he was at Lyon, which isn’t too bad either.
As for the food, yeah he’s got a point.
