It’s make or break now for AC Milan regarding the potential transfer of Everton’s Gerard Deulofeu to the San Siro.
Made to wait for a long time before seeing their loan offer rejected, the Serie A side have decided enough is enough and have made one last offer for the Spaniard, one they are not willing to negotiate.
This is according to AC Milan’s director of football Adriano Galliani, who told TuttoMercatoWeb in Italy: “We’ve made a new offer to Everton: a paid loan with a right of redemption. It’s the last and final offer. We sent an email not too long ago.”
This comes after this morning’s article in Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that Milan were confident Ronald Koeman was softening on the demands regarding his winger, despite Everton asking for a redemption obligation.
With AC Milan still waiting for their Chinese takeover to be completed, funds are lacking in the San Siro coffers, and a loan with a view to buy is their only chance of potentially signing Deulofeu permanently as things stand.
The 22-year-old has only managed to help his team out with one assist this season, making 13 appearances in all competition for the Toffees.
