It seems DC United midfielder Paul Arriola has confirmed that he’s on his way to complete a move to Swansea City.
The information comes from the United States, where TUDN journalist Michele Giannone says the player claimed he’s ‘ready to go’.
Arriola told TUDN he’s only waiting for DC United and Swansea City to sort the agreement out, as he’s already spoken to the Championship side’s ‘head coach’.
Michele Giannone adds that the player should move on a six-month loan with a buying option for the Welsh side, in a similar deal to that of Jordan Morris.
Morris joined Swansea City on a loan from Seattle Sounders this month, and is currently waiting to make his debut in the Championship.
Arriola, who started his career in LA Galaxy’s academy, first played professionally in Mexico, where he featured for Dorados and Tijuana.
He joined DC United in a €2.9m deal in 2017, and currently holds a record of 14 goals and 13 assists in 72 appearances for the MLS club.
