For the past few weeks, Chelsea defender Malang Sarr has been heavily linked to a departure from the club.
With the player getting little playing time under Thomas Tuchel, it’s been said he’s looking for a January exit, with big Serie A sides being said to be after him, and his agent trying to find a new destination.
Several reports from Italy said that Inter Milan and AC Milan have both been in touch for the move, although we now see new claims saying there’s another club trying to take him to the country.
Outlet Foot Mercato now claims that Torino are interested in signing Sarr as well. It’s said the Turin side would like to get him on a loan deal in the January window.
Their report adds that other Italian and German sides are ‘also involved’ in the race for the 22-year-old.
Even though Sarr was a starter in Chelsea’s match against Zenit in the Champions League this week, it’s said that doesn’t change his situation at the club, as he’s still unlikely to get a lot of playing time in the future.
So with a big battle going on in Italy for his signing, it now looks like a matter of time until one of those clubs reach a deal with the Blues.
