Andreas Pereira is about to finally get his chance for Valencia. With Gonçalo Guedes’ injury, the Manchester United loanee will finally have enough game time in Spain and show what he’s capable of.

Wait a second. Didn’t we write a very similar opening paragraph a month ago? Yes we did, and that’s because the Brazilian midfielder is facing the same situation again.

As reported by Deporte Valenciano today, Pereira continues having trouble finding a place in the Spanish side, and that’s the reason he only played eight minutes against Barcelona at the weekend.

Now once again, the website supports the Manchester United owned player in a new story, saying now it’s his time, showing a lot of patience with the 21-year-old.

But the problem is that time is passing, and the loan transfer hasn’t shown a huge benefit for the Manchester United player so far.

Having left José Mourinho’s side because he wasn’t being picked, he lives the same situation in La Liga, having played less than 500 minutes this season.

And now with Manchester United’s squad getting fully fit again, and Mourinho testing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to play alongside Romelu Lukaku, it sounds more unlikely the Brazilian would find a place in the team in January.

Perhaps it’s looking like Pereira didn’t make the right choice in leaving Manchester United last summer, and will have a harder time when he returns. That, of course, can all change… but Pereira, or Andreas as he’s known in Spain, needs to take full advanatge of this latest opportunity Deporte Valenciano believe he’s about to get.
