As loans over the past season go, Moise Kean’s at Paris Saint-Germain from Everton is one of the most successful.

The striker has flourished under both Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino in France, which has caused the Ligue 1 champions to consider making the move permanent, regardless of how difficult that might be.

Everton never agreed to a purchase price in the loan, meaning any negotiations would have to start from scratch, giving Paris Saint-Germain little to no advantage this summer.

Juventus, where Kean played before his move to Goodison Park, know this, and, following his great form this season, are keen to repatriate him if they can.

Gazzetta dello Sport have a big article on the subject on Wednesday, where they look at the possible scenarios that could guarantee the 21-year-old’s return.

Looking back at the decision to sell him to Everton, it’s explained Juventus have regretted the decision far sooner than anticipated, with only the ability to match any offers accepted and €30m or so to show for it.

The fee now is expected to be closer to €50m, but the Serie A side ‘are convinced they have the right cards in their hands to bring home’ the striker, although they are fully aware ‘it will not be easy’.

Carlo Ancelotti has never made it explicitly clear that he wants Kean by his side next year, which is why Juventus are encouraged, with it said the Italian manager ‘doesn’t seem willing to put up the barricades to hold him back’.

Any deal, as you might have suspected, would have to involve a player, with the ‘first names on the list’ being Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot, as they would also allow the club to get rid of their hefty wages.

As an alternative, Federico Bernardeschi is mentioned, but it’s explained ‘none of the three options warm Everton’, who ‘could show much more willingness if Merih Demiral were brought into play’.

While Juventus have ‘so far refused several offers’ for the centre-back, the inability to guarantee him regular time means ‘he could go from untouchable to sacrificed’.

Everton ‘have not yet come forward’, but ‘Ancelotti’s approval is there’, and ‘an exchange with a valuation of around €50m would guarantee both clubs a substantial capital gain’.

It’s certainly something worth exploring, but first, it remains to be seen what Moise Kean wants, as he has a season to finish in Paris and very recently admitted he had no idea what his future holds.
