Last week, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Brighton are demanding €23m from AC Milan for Pervis Estupinan.
The newspaper explained the two clubs are still some distance apart when it comes to the Ecuadorian. Manchester United interest was also mentioned but it didn’t appear to be serious.
MilanNews’ Antonio Vitiello makes no mention of the Red Devils and claims that this will be ‘an important week’ when it comes to deciding the Brighton star’s future.
AC Milan have increased their offer to €15m and have reached a verbal agreement with Jorge Mendes, who is helping the two clubs find an agreement.
Gazzetta dello Sport add more to this. They also report that Max Allegri’s side are now offering €15m and on top of that, Brighton’s stance has softened.
The Seagulls initially wanted €23m but that demand is now negotiable. As a result, the clubs are closer and Gazzetta believe Estupinan will replace Theo Hernandez this summer.
Both clubs can reach an agreement soon, with the player keen on the transfer.
