Two days ago we brought you an update on the future of Stanley Nsoki and his potential move to Newcastle United this summer.
The Paris Saint-Germain youngster has been linked with a move to St James’ Park, and the Magpies are believed to have agreed on a deal with the Ligue 1 champions for him.
However, the last we heard there was a stumbling block in the move with Newcastle struggling to reach an agreement on personal terms with the player.
Talks were ongoing between the parties, but it was clear that the deal could take longer to get over the line than first thought.
There’s no update on the move today, but it seems PSG are pushing for the youngster to get it done sooner rather than later.
They’re currently on a tour of China but have sent several players back to France from it, and Nsoki is among them, according to RMC Sport.
All of those sent back are players close to leaving the club, so it feels like a clear sign from PSG that they want them to speed up their departures.
The ball feels very much in Nsoki’s court on this one, and if Newcastle are really keen, they need to use this latest development to their advantage and get a deal done.
