According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are showing last-minute interest in West Ham United defender Emerson.
The Super Lig transfer window closes on Friday and the Turkish champions have been looking to bring in an experienced left back throughout the summer.
Sabah have reported on Galatasaray’s pursuit for a left back after the concerns they had with in this position during pre-season. The Istanbul side had originally targeted Aston Villa’s Lucas Digne, but the Frenchman wasn’t interested in the move.
It’s reported Gala officials are set to roll up their sleeves to get a deal done for the Italian international but face a race against time with the window closing in four days.
Emerson has started all three of the Hammers Premier League games this season and is contracted until June 2026, with the option to extend for another season.
That makes it appear that they’d to keep him.
