It’s not just Mauricio Pochettino who had to talk about the Manchester United job in his press conference today.

Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag, who’s also been linked to the Red Devils following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s departure, was quizzed about his chances of moving to the Premier League side as well.

Prior to the Champions League clash against Besiktas, the 51-year-old claimed he knows nothing about those rumours for now.

“I’m busy with Ajax and I have not heard anything of any interest,” said Ten Hag (via De Telegraaf).

“Clubs have not made contact. We want to win titles at Ajax this season and in the competition we have heavy competition from PSV and also from Feyenoord. It doesn’t distract me, but it’s always nice when clubs of this allure show interest.”

Dutch outlet De Telegraaf had a big piece about Ten Hag’s future on Monday. They claimed that the manager is very unlikely to leave Ajax in the middle of the season, as he’s already told club chiefs Marc Overmars and Edwin van der Sar that he’s committed to them.

The outlet believes that not even being able to triple his salary would be enough for Manchester United to take him away from the Eredivisie side for now. Still, a summer move can’t be ruled out, as even Ajax are getting prepared for his potential departure.
