Over the past couple of weeks, Olympiacos goalkeeper José Sá has been linked to several clubs in Europe.
The Greek press has been claiming that the likes of Atletico Madrid, Real Betis and West Ham United have all been after the 27-year-old.
The player has been interviewed by Portuguese website Remate Digital this week, and was directly questioned about the chase for him, especially regarding the interest from Betis and the Hammers. But it looks like Sá isn’t that keen on teasing with a transfer for now.
“Regarding the news, that’s it, news. I don’t know anything and I don’t think about it, obviously I’m happy because it’s always good to be talked about, it’s to recognise our work,” José Sá told Remate Digital.
Quizzed about his plans for the next season, Sá said: “My goals for the next seasons are to grow and evolve to always be competing with the best.”
West Ham have been linked to Sá since last year, with the rumours growing a little in the past couple of months, especially after the goalkeeper had good performances in the Europa League against Premier League sides.
Despite the news from the Greek media, the Portuguese press haven’t had any updates on the situation, even though they normally have good sources coming from their players’ entourages.
