Yesterday we covered reports from Greece that Olympiacos are in talks to sign Nottingham Forest winger Barrie McKay.
Sdna.Gr now report Olympiacos are very close to announcing a deal after coming to an agreement in principle for McKay.
It’s reported a deal for McKay is almost completed and the 23 year old is expected to wear Olympiacos’ shirt next season.
Negotiations between Nottingham Forest and the Greek giants have reportedly more or less come to end, with just a couple of minor details to be sorted before the official announcement.
According to Sdna.Gr Olympiacos are looking to fill the void left by Kevin Mirallas, who recently returned to Everton after his loan spell in Athens last season.
The Greek giants had a right of redemption for the Everton attacker but he failed to make an impact in his time at the club.
Olympiacos are looking to rebuild their squad this summer after a poor season, and the Nottingham Forest player looks to be their next signing. McKay played 26 games in the Championship last season, scoring 5 goals and providing 7 assists.
There is no indication whether it’s a loan or permanent deal.
