Sabah claim Galatasaray are interested in signing Jose Holebas from Watford, and that they have an agreement with the Premier League side to bring in the Greek defender.

It’s been reported Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim wants to sign a left back in ths window, and Holebas is a strong option.

According to Sabah initial contact was made with Watford, and now talks have progressed, with claims of an agreement.

The Turkish giants have made a loan offer, which is around €600K for the remainder of the season, with a right of redemption to Watford and Sabah say the English side have accepted these terms.

If everything goes well, Holebas will be expected in Istanbul this week to seal his move, claims the Turkish newspaper.

The 33 year old is reportedly keen to play in Turkey for Galatasaray, after he was closely linked with a move to Besiktas before his move to AS Roma in 2014.

Holebas has played 15 Premier League games for Watford this season.
