Two days ago, Venê Casagrande reported a West Ham United official was in Brazil to hold talks with Palmeiras for Luis Guilherme.
On Friday, UOL’s André Hernan stated the Hammers are in advanced talks with the 18-year-old. He also explained that West Ham intend to make a €30m bid.
A fresh report from UOL states West Ham have agreed a deal with the winger and now an agreement has to be found with the Brazilian club.
It’s claimed West Ham are closing in on a deal for around €30m and the South American club will be entitled to receive 20% of the fee from his future sale. UOL don’t specify whether or not the €30m deal includes bonuses.
Hernan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say that €30m is the fixed fee and the two clubs have kept the bonuses confidential. He further adds ‘agreement [is] close’ between the Premier League side and Palmeiras.
According to ESPN in Brazil, Guilherme has attracted interest from several clubs, but West Ham are currently leading the race. Julen Lopetegui’s side are in ‘advanced negotiations’ with Palmeiras and they ‘expect to close the deal’ for €30m.
