As Lyanco’s transfer from Torino to Southampton looks nearly done, the Italian media now brings an update on the last steps for the operation.
Outlet Tutto Mercato Web writes that the Serie A side ‘defined’ the sale over the weekend, having accepted a €7m bid from the Saints.
Now the website learned that Lyanco’s agents are in Italy to ‘close the transaction’, which likely means they’re sorting out the final details.
That’s pretty much all Tutto Mercato Web has to say, making it clear that the defender should soon be on his way to the Premier League.
Last night, reports from the Brazilian media had already backed-up the transfer as well. Reporter Venê Casagrande claimed that Southampton are spending €7.5m on Lyanco, who will sign a contract until 2025.
The report also claimed that the player would finish his medicals on Monday before signing the deal. Now with his agents still in Italy, it sounds like those exams were carried out in Turin, unless his flight to England was delayed.
