Tottenham are facing increased competition from Inter Milan for Udinese’s Destiny Udogie, with the player’s representatives meeting the Italian side today.

Earlier today, we covered a report from Italy that stated Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici had met with Udogie’s agents in London in the last few days to discuss a potential move.

That was done as the agents had travelled to England to speak to Udinese owner Gino Pozzo in an effort to bring his asking price down this summer.

That was followed by another claim that Paratici had also registered an interest with Udinese to study the feasibility of a transfer.

Gianluca di Marzio now follows that up and states the agents have moved on from Spurs to hold talks with Inter.

He explains that Udogie’s entourage are currently holding talks with the Nerazzurri management, with the Serie A side ‘working to understand the conditions of a possible transfer’.

Udogie is the current Plan B for those in charge at Inter, but they want to ‘evaluate this opportunity’ and speak to his agents to tie things up in case they decide to make a move.

They belief the player would perfectly suit the system employed under Simone Inzaghi and need reinforcement in the position after losing Ivan Perisic to Tottenham.
