Super-agent Mino Raiola ‘will have to find a team’ for Everton striker Moise Kean this summer as Juventus look to get rid.
The Italian striker returned to his former club in the summer transfer window on an initial two-year loan deal, which is set to be made permanent next year.
The deal has Juventus paying €3m and then €4m in loan fees and includes an almost mandatory €30m clause for the move to become permanent in the summer of 2024.
His return has not been a successful one so far, though, with just five goals and two assists in 35 games so far this season.
According to Calciomercato, he has ‘largely disappointed’ the expectations of the club and manager Maximiliano Allegri, and the plan for a while has been to get rid of him if they can.
Numerous reports over the last few months have indicated that the club are looking at their options and a way to avoid having to pay Everton their €30m in a year’s time.
The most obvious idea is that Juventus will pay the figure early and then sell Kean to another club, and CM now say it is up to his agent, Raiola, to ‘find a team for the former PSG’ striker.
It’s felt that finding a solution would be to the better of the ‘happiness’ of both parties, particularly Juventus, who would ‘save a good €30m’ on the deal.
Who Raiola may try to get interested isn’t mentioned, but we’re sure PSG will be in the mix as they’re still big fans of Kean and will have to fill the hole left behind should Kylian Mbappe leave as expected this summer.
It’s for Raiola to work out, and he’s in ‘collaboration’ with Juventus to make something happen, but there is a growing sense Everton could be getting their money a year early either way.
