The agent of Tottenham Hotspur forward Vincent Janssen has told the Dutch media his client will not be leaving the Premier League side in this window.
The Netherlands international has been linked with a move to Turkey in recent days, despite only joining Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
Voetbal Primeur have reported on comments Patrick van Diemen made when asked if Janssen would be joining Galatasaray in January. It’s stated that on the Galatasaray offer, Van Dieman confirmed Janssen would be staying at Tottenham to win back his place in Mauricio Pochettino’s side and ruled out a move to Turkey
“He is not going there and continues to fight for Spurs,” said Janssen’s agent on recent speculation.
Janssen signed for Tottenham in the summer from AZ, but has found goals hard to come by in the Premier League. The Dutchman has scored just one Premier League goal since his arrival, which came via a penalty.
Since Harry Kane returned from injury Janssen has seen himself demoted back to the bench, and when given chances has failed to produce goals.
