The Brazilian-born Italian international left the Serie A outfit and followed his manager to Stamford Bridge. The midfielder’s agent has spoken to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, and discussed the Merseyside club’s European fixture against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Joao Santos, who watched his client in action against the Reds, claims the final result was “good” for the Blues and believes that Liverpool’s investment in this calendar year shows they are focusing on winning the Premier League and the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp’s side lost to Real Madrid in the last season’s Champions League final and twill make an another attempt to win the European competition. In the league, Liverpool are second in the table with 19 points, level with leaders Manchester City.
Jorginho’s agent clearly believes Liverpool are going all-out to win the biggest prizes, and that their investment is a clear sign of the plan.
