The agent of Southampton star Manolo Gabbiadini has told the Italian media his client has settled in well at the club. The Italy international signed for Southampton from Napoli in the last window, and has been an instant success for the Premier League side.
Speaking to Calciomercarto, Silvio Pagliari was asked how he thought Gabbiadini has fared since his arrival in England last month. Pagliari confirmed the Southampton forward is happy in his new surroundings, and is now determined to make the move a success. The player’s agent revealed he’s bonded well with this teammates and coach, so believes he shouldn’t have issues whilst at the club.
“He lives his new experience in England with peace of mind, with conviction and determination, concentrated on his work. He’s immediately settled with the coach, with the staff and with all his teammates. It’s not difficult for him to make himself well, both on the field and off the field,” said Gabbiadini’s agent.
Gabbiadini signed for Southampton in record deal for the south coast side, and the forward has already started to repay his new club. The Italian has scored five goals in his first three games for Southampton, including netting twice against Manchester United in the EFL Cup final last weekend. The 25-year-old will be hoping his recent form for Southampton will be earn him a recall to the Italy squad at the end of this month.
