The agent of Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye, William D’Avila, has spoken to Radyospor’s Ozgur Sancar about his client’s future

With claims in the Turkish media saying Galatasaray are very close to agreeing a deal with both Stoke City and the player, D’Avila has revealed his client wanted to remain in England.

D’Avila said as covered by Ajansspor: “To be fair, Badou wanted to stay in England but we were unable to agree with a team. Galatasaray are certainly an option at the moment. I think the Galatasaray fans are likely to get a very happy ending.”

Yesterday we covered reports from Turkey that Ndiaye has asked Stoke City for a move to Galatasaray, just months after singing for the Potters from the Turkish champions.
