Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye’s agent William D’Avila has confirmed his client is very close to joining Galatasaray.
D’Avila has spoken to Radyospor as covered by Ajansspor: “The transfer is looking very close. He had a lot offers but the Champions League factor was very important. Also he feels he’s valued at Galatasaray. Fatih Terim is also a very important factor.”
Turkish newspaper Sabah have reported the Senegal international has rejected four clubs in order to join Galatasaray.
Sabah claim Ndiaye said no to Sevilla, Bournemouth, Wolves and Marseille as he wanted to play in the Champions League with Galatasaray.
It’s reported the Stoke City man feels comfortable playing in Istanbul and because he loves the city he feels he will settle back in with Galatasaray.
The player joined Stoke City from the Turkish club for €16m in the last transfer window. Ndiaye has been linked with a return to Galatasaray throughout the summer following the Potters relegation to the Championship last season.
With the transfer window only closing in the Turkey next week it seems the Istanbul club will get a deal done for Ndiaye.
