Juan Cuadrado spent the last season on loan at Juventus, who wanted to retain him this season as well, but interest from the Serie A champions seems to have faded away.
Earlier, reports suggested Antonio Conte wants to keep him at Chelsea this season, but that’s not too clear at the moment.
However, Italian claims now suggest another Serie A club would be interested in signing the Colombian.
According to Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, AC Milan are interested in signing Cuadrado on loan.
Il Messaggero say Cuadrado is on top of the wishlist of manager Vincenzo Montella, and that his agent, Alessandro Lucci, is working to bring him back to Italy.
It is reported Lucci is in daily contact with Chelsea and Conte. AC Milan want Cuadrado on loan with an option to buy him for €25m.
AC Milan’s new Chinese owners are expected to spend big in the transfer market in the next few seasons, so it’s not really surprising to see them being linked to Cuadrado.
