Tottenham Hotspur’s hunt for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic is a story which has got a lot of attention from the Italian media over the past week, with articles saying the London side have been in touch with his agent for the signing.
Today, outlet Firenze Viola has a piece about the 24-year-old’s future. And even though they’re a club-dedicated website who are hoping the player stays for one more season, they can’t ignore the fact that many sides are interested in buying him.
The outlet writes that agent Fali Ramadani is making a ‘final screening’ for Milenkovic’s choice. Tottenham are once again named as one of the clubs who stand out as potential destinations, along with Inter Milan, Juventus and Chelsea.
Still, it’s pointed out that ‘no concrete, decisive and indispensable proposal’ has arrived at the Serie A side so far, and ‘we’ll see what will happen between now and Monday’.
Firenze Viola claim Fiorentina have a ‘pact’ with the player, where they’d let him move if an offer worth €15m arrives. That’s something Tottenham could certainly cover, although they’d need to convince the defender as well.
