Fenerbahce have made steps to sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi, report Fotomac.

It’s reported Alex Raskovic, the agent of Fenerbahce basketball team head coach Zeljko Obradovic, and business partner Rob Segal, have met in Istanbul. Segal represents the Liverpool player.

Fotomac say Obradovic arranged a meeting between Segal and Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli, with reports the Turkish club want to loan Origi.

It’s claimed Liverpool would be open to loaning the Belgian forward for a season, although this could be questioned given the player only has a year left on his contract with the Premier League club.

Origi recently returned to the Merseyside club following his mixed loan spell at Wolfsburg, where he made 31 appearances, scoring 6 goals. It seems he isn’t in the plans of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and may have to find another club in this transfer window.

The 23 year old has also linked with a move to Galatasaray in the recent weeks.
