AC Milan have apparently just joined the list of clubs who keen on signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in the next transfer window.

The Rossoneri interest is reported in an exclusive on Tutto Mercato Web, who claim the club are joining their Serie A rivals Inter Milan and Juventus in the race.

But TMW reckon the battle should really stay in the city of Milan, where Inter are a long time pretender and Milan’s interest is said to be very strong.

It’s claimed Alexis Sanchez’ agent will be in Italy before the end of April to hear the offers the player is set to receive. Inter Milan would be ready to offer €7.5m per season on a four-year contract. Football salaries in Italy are usually reported after tax.

But the Italians shouldn’t be having a clear run to sign the Arsenal star. On Monday it was reported in France that PSG and Chelsea have also opened talks with the player’s entourage.

It will be a busy summer for Sanchez’s agent, but given he also represents Arturo Vidal, he’s well used to this kind of saga. Arsene Wenger too is no stranger to summer transfer sagas, but he’ll surely hope this one ends without an actual move.
